Whoever you are, I’m happy you’re here.

Welcome to Life FAQs. I’m Robyn and my hobbies include painting my nails, watching Netflix and asking Life’s Big Questions. You might be wondering what makes me think I’m capable of answering them?

Well, having spent the first 32 years of my life asking the same questions on repeat, I have, for the first time, found myself somewhere new. I now no longer really care what other people think about me. I have found the resilience inside me I never knew I had and was desperately seeking. My brain has quietened down so much that I can hear new, interesting thoughts and ideas. I have ventured off on holiday without overthinking and worrying. People are wondering why I seem so different and why I have stopped bothering them with my worries and anxieties. I have been anxious for as long as I can remember and now without any effort or doing, I am free. Free to create websites and write blog posts without a care. Ok, maybe that last bit isn’t totally true. I care enough to proof read and check my spelling. Any other cares are just fleeting!

One of my favourite questions was always ‘What will people think?’ and I was constantly telling myself that I ‘should’ and ‘shouldn’t’ be doing things. I was exhausted. I was scrabbling about for answers and couldn’t find them. Well, now I can hear myself think again, I feel like a new person and it’s all because I am finally looking for answers in the right place. The most amazing thing of all is that I am the exact same person and my circumstances have not changed.

I came across an understanding that blew my mind. I now understand how my reality is created and now that I get it, I can relax into life. I didn’t learn methods or coping mechanisms, I just learnt how things work. When you know how things work, you can use them in your favour.

As a teacher, I hope that with a few blog posts here and there, I can help you to understand what shapes your reality too. Because once you know, you know. You can’t forget it or unlearn it. And once you start to understand, you’ll see examples all around you and wonder why you didn’t see it before because it’s so bloomin’ obvious! Then your life will start to change, right before your eyes.

I can’t promise to change your circumstances. I can do one better. I can show you things that will make you love the life you already have. Is that not the dream?!

So, if you like long, gushing posts about life-changing experiences then it looks like you’re in luck. Wait, is that not what people want? OK, I’ll definitely to keep it brief and to the point. Seriously though, if something I’ve written helps one person then it’s been worth it.

Enjoy! Or don’t. As stated above, one of the perks of this new understanding is that I no longer worry about other people’s thoughts. Now isn’t that real freedom?

Feel free to message me at any time and ask questions, I just love talking about this stuff! You only get one life (as far as I am currently aware) and what I’m bringing to the table needs no studying or effort. To get to where I am now I did a brilliant online course called A Little Peace of Mind with Nicola Bird (search for it on Facebook – it was life changing!) and have read tonnes of books and listened to tonnes of podcasts. They’re all out there and I’ll share good ones. However, this is my interpretation of the understanding from my perspective and it feels only right to share, because if everyone saw what I see now, the world would be a better place.
